Paint the Town Pink

March 28, 2015 @ 6:00 pm - 11:00 pm EDT

Crittenton's Extravaganza a Trip Down the Rabbit Hole Crittenton's 12th Annual Paint the Town Pink event, Pink in Wonderland, is scheduled for Saturday, March 28th at the Wheeling Artisan Center. In keeping with the Alice in Wonderland theme, guests are encouraged to participate in the Mad Hatter contest. Prizes will be awarded to guests with the most creative hat. As always, the annual event, Crittenton's largest, is "pink tie optional." The Artisan Center will come alive with a Wonderland fantasy environment that includes larger-than-life flowers, mushroom, playing cards, timepieces, and more. Young women in Crittenton's residential treatment program enjoy creating many of the pieces that will set the scene. "The Wonderland theme lends itself to over-the-top, imaginative decoration. Every year, guests marvel at the pieces the girls have created and enjoy knowing that, by buying an event ticket, they are supporting Crittenton's work to bring high quality mental health services to the West Virginia community," says decorating chair, David Miller. Chef Rocco Basil provides a delicious, gourmet menu for the event. Guests select their entrees from a number of stations located throughout the venue, with a wide variety of options, including meats, pasta, vegetables, and more.
